Clark University is a teaching and research institution founded in 1887 as the first independent, all-graduate university in the United States. Today both undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered. Clark's strength is its ability to combine high-quality liberal arts education with personal attention and advanced study opportunities. The University offers 27 majors, 23 minors and 12 interdisciplinary concentrations, which can be combined to match individual interests and academic goals. Because of Clark's small size, all students have the opportunity to become involved in research or community outreach, working side by side with faculty. Clark currently enrolls 2069 undergraduates, representing 44 states and 58 countries.
